BSLSC Demonstration Beach Lifeguard Competition
This will be the first Brighton Surf Life Saving Club (BSLSC), Beach Life guard competition at the paddle round the pier. The public will have the chance to see how physically fit Beach Lifeguard competitors have to be, and how much of a visual spectacle the different types of event are.
It’s a particularly exciting time to be involved in Lifeguarding at this present time. Rescue 2010, The World Life Saving Championships, will be held in Newquay in 2010. This is an opportunity to see a demonstration of a developing sport, and to meet members of Several Life Saving Clubs from around Sussex, with the aim of making it an even bigger event next year.
