BSUPA/Paddle Round The Pier invite you come along and join in the latest and coolest water sport out that is Stand Up Paddle Boarding. On Sunday July 5th and as part of the Paddle Round The Pier beach Festival, BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Board Association) aim to stage the largest gathering of paddleboards in the UK to date. The fun race will be from Brightons’ famous West Pier down the coast to just the other side of the Palace Pier (to the East) and then back up to West Pier with a small sprint up the beach to the finish line to receive the cheers and adoration of the waiting crowds. The race will be open to anyone with their own paddleboard and there is no restriction of size of board. What better to spend a Sunday morning than a float with friends and raising money for worthy cause. Entry fee is £15, part of which will be donated to the main P.R.T.P charities. This donation will also give each competitor automatic entry into the prize raffle. Plus a special competitors medal for everyone who finishes the course.
