Surf Action

Surf Action is a registered charity whose core purpose is to focus on the well being and support of combat veterans and their families. Our charity is very innovative as we use surfing and the beach environment as a means to escape the daily barriers faced by these troops returning from conflict. We are a group actively engaging veterans in physical activities that is truly building self-esteem and confidence.
Since Sept 2009 we have held a number of successful events with veterans suffering from PTSD, from conflicts in the past such as Aden, Northern Ireland, Falklands, Iraq and more recently Afghanistan. These events are hugely successful, amputees and a sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder have all surfed for the first time bringing smiles to many faces.
