THE PERCEPTION KAYAKS “SCOOTER-CHALLENGE”
A FREE KAYAK ANYONE?
The Scooter Challenge is back again by popular demand for the 2008 Paddle Round the Pier Beach Festival.
In the 2006 inaugural event, local hero, Norman Cook (AKA Fat Boy Slim) took the challenge and was narrowly edged out in a hotly contested final. Will he be back yet again to challenge for the crown???
Why not join in the fun this year or watch your friends and family take the challenge.
It’s as simple as this;
- fastest person to a marker buoy and back on one of the amazing “Scooters” gets added to the top of the "Challenge-time-leader-board",
- 15.00 hours, the fastest 5 times on the "Challenge-time-leader-board" get to race head to head against each other with the ultimate winner keeping their winning Kayak
- Open to anyone and everyone. Just turn up and have a go!
Using the Perception Scooter is easy. The exceptional stability and user friendly handling of this versatile kayak is perfectly suited to fun seekers and families alike. Paddlers of all abilities benefit from a smooth and predictable ride thanks to the ingenious hull design and even volume distribution.
