VIP Area

With the on going success of Paddle Round the Pier, growing year after year it became evident that it needed a VIP area. As I am sure you know by now Paddle is totally voluntary run and its main purpose is to have a great time and raise lots of money for charity.

So when Dave Samuel cornered Sophie Corbett (daughter of comedy legend Ronnie Corbett) in toys r us car park and ask her to come on board she couldn’t say no. Sophie was blown away by the team’s selfless passion and dedication to Paddle and the causes it supports. She couldn’t have done it without the support of her dear friends Jeremy Jacobs and Mandy Young.

How do you put together a VIP area for a national event with no money, no contacts and no time? This was the challenge that faced the team. They managed to pull this off in spectacular style without spending a penny as shown in the picture from last year.

This year the VIP Paddle Team will be welcoming guests into a bigger space which promises to provide a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the busy festival. Guests are encouraged to relax with a glass and soak up the atmosphere, have a delicious  cupcake whilst listening to some live music. And remember we do it all with out spending 1p,

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the generous people and businesses that bent over backwards to help us year after year (because we hope they’ll do the same this year, wink wink).
Thank you for all your support and we look forward to seeing you all this year x

If you feel your business could contribute to making our VIP area more fabulous please email vip@paddleroundthepier.com

Entry to the VIP area is by invitation only.

We would like to extend out gratitude to Jugs Furniture of Hove who provided us with some beautiful furniture and accessories for the VIP Tent
