Family fun guaranteed at this year’s Paddle Round The Pier Beach Festival
The Paddle Round The Pier beach Festival really does offer something for everyone and something for all ages – and this year is no exception!
There is a huge array of events, activities and more on offer for families wanting to head down to the free charitable event, which takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July on Hove Lawns, Brighton.
And Dotty Spotty-Sox will be entertaining the crowds with a marvellous magic show, as well as providing workshops ranging from clowning skills to balloon modelling.
There will also be performances from White Crane Fighting Arts, Harpscool, Goldmans, many local schools, a Zumba demonstration and much more to be confirmed.
Back for another year is the giant sandpit! This year is generously sponsored by our friends at Lansdowne Place Hotel & Spa and supported by the Dudman Group & Stamco Timber. It will host loads of great activities, such as beach volleyball, but also there will be a children’s sandcastle building competition.
Paddle Round The Pier is also excited to announce that there will be a crèche at Paddle Round the Pier this year, run by Brighton Wedding Fairies.
The crèche will be focused on providing childcare for children under the age of five. Parents are welcome to stay with their children if they wish to, or they can leave them to play while they go and explore the rest of the festival.
And don’t forget the hundreds of stalls that form part of the event, selling everything from clothes to beach toys. Plus there are numerous food stalls offering dishes from across the globe.
This year’s charities are the RNLI, Winston’s Wish and Surf Action. A £1 entry donation per person is suggested in order to help raise as much as possible for these worthy causes.
