Nike 6.0 ‘Leave A Message’ hits the big screen at PRTP
The brand-new Nike 6.0 surf movie ‘Leave a Message’ will hit the big screen at Paddle Round The Pier Beach Festival when it’s played as part of the ‘Skating Not Prohibited’ event on the Friday 1 July.
Leave a Message is an all-women’s surf movie combines some of the hottest female surfing outside of the competition circuit and creates a truly progressive vision of what surfing can be.
The collection of talent and beauty features Carissa Moore, Lakey Peterson, Laura Enever, Coco Ho, Monyca Byrne-Wickey, and Malia Manuel, delivering groundbreaking aerials and long barrels with a message that transcends well beyond the lineup: this generation of surfers has changed their sport.
Leave a Message was launched last month on Nike’s website and has received great feedback from across the surfing community from those who’ve downloaded it.
The film will be aired to the local surfing and skateboarding community at 8pm on the Friday.
Skating Not Prohibited kicks off at 4.30pm with skate demos and jam sessions on the ramps. People are encouraged to come and try a different type of skating with ‘have a go’ sessions from slalom skateboards to Longboards, from 6-man dragon skateboards to pump skating.
After the skate fun we have local film producer Andy Evans and friends coming down to demonstrate how to make a skate video in the big top tent. This will be followed by a combination of Skate, BMX and Longboard movies about the local Brighton Scene at 7pm.
